Pick the one that matches the work you want to do.
Account Manager. Houston
Post-sale ownership at a Houston-based technology services firm. Reports to Microtech's account management leadership. Direct-hire path at capstone for fellows who perform.
Customers, services, CRM
Learn Microtech's client base, service portfolio, and account map. Sit in on internal pipeline reviews. Walk the floor of the delivery org.
Ride-alongs, QBRs, renewals
Shadow senior account managers on quarterly business reviews, renewal conversations, and expansion plays. Begin documenting accounts.
Partial book ownership
Co-own a portion of the existing account book. Run named QBRs with coaching. Surface expansion opportunities. Own CRM hygiene on your accounts.
Solo ownership, FTE conversation
Run QBRs solo. Deliver a written 90-day account plan. Written performance review and full-time offer discussion at completion.
Ideal fellow
- Active duty service member within 180 days of separation
- Background in operations, communications, logistics, intel, or stakeholder-heavy roles
- Strong written communication and follow-through
- Comfortable with CRM discipline week after week
- Based in or relocating to the Houston metro
Not a fit
- Wants a passive observer role
- Allergic to CRM hygiene and standing cadence
- Looking for marketing or recruiting dressed up as account management

Account Executive. San Antonio
Community-led, full-cycle. Direct-hire to SecureTech at capstone. Reports to the Controller; deal coaching from Lance Langel, Senior AE.

Discovery to SOW
HubSpot discipline. Discovery, proposals, and SOWs run end-to-end with weekly coaching.

Chambers, SAMA, Cyber Council, AFCEA, NDIA, LinkedIn. Show up where buyers actually are.
First deal, solo panel, 90-day plan
Independent closing. Present a 90-day event calendar. Strong finish converts to FTE.

- 0–2 years sales, BD, recruiting, or military leadership
- Executive presence. Explains technical ideas in plain English

Marketing & Event Coordination Specialist
Marketing motion training under daily coaching from IZT's Marketing Lead, with weekly 1:1s from The Audible's founder. Direct-hire to IZT at capstone.
Learn the market and the motion
UCaaS positioning, IZT's brand, partner marketing mechanics, event marketing fundamentals. Daily check-ins with Marketing Lead.
Live OJT, daily coaching
Campaign execution, content production, partner co-marketing, HubSpot ops, event planning workstreams. Shadow at least one live IZT event end-to-end.
Own an event run-of-show
Pre-event promotion, on-site execution, post-event follow-up. Drive a named campaign workstream. Capstone with documented portfolio and FTE decision.

Sales Development Representative
A real seat at a real company. Not a shadow assignment, not a coffee-fetch internship. You run live outbound for our clients from day one and own a number from week three.
Learn the motion, learn the stack
Account research inside client ICPs. Messaging frameworks. HubSpot at an operator level. Sit in on real discovery calls and watch how operators close.
Live outbound across email, phone, and LinkedIn
Build account-specific outreach. Work the phones. Qualify inbound and outbound conversations. Document every touch in HubSpot. Hand structured opportunities to senior sellers.
Week three onward
You own a number. You contribute to weekly pipeline reviews. Written performance reviews at 30, 60, and 90 days. Recommendation letter at completion regardless of hire outcome.
